Gucci Look for Less

Gucci's Fall/Winter 2008 collection was one to be remembered. It not only was one of the best collections of the season but it also symbolized a revival for Gucci and put this collection on par with the collections during the Tom Ford era.

This collection Gucci revived the Bohemian Luxe trend which faded away about 3 years ago and it could not have been a better comeback. Everything from fringe and studded boots, to the tapestry version of the hit Hysteria bag, to the flowy tops and amazing furs...was to dye for.

Buying anything from the Gucci Fall/Winter collection however is going to cost you, just the shoes range from $750-$2,000! But with the styles below I can show you how to get the look for less.

Furs:
This coyote fur vest by Adrienne Landau looks similar to the tan fur vest that was shown in all the Gucci advertisements this season. And at 40% off at Bluefly, you can't beat the price.

For our PETA friends, this long faux fur vest by Free People is a great option, at an amazing price. The great thing about this vest is since it is so long, it would even look great belted.

Tops:
See by Chloe makes great blouses and this is no exception. This style is marked down so its a great style that is easy on the wallet and will work well with a fur vest or embellished blazer to work the boho trend.

When it comes to silk blouses, no one can do it like Tucker. Each season the same classic style smock button-up top is re-worked in the best prints that correspond to the trends of the season. All these styles are winners, just choose which print suits you best. Poppy Print, Light Tan and Pink Rose Print, Red and Brown Rose Print.

This beaded blouse from Joie will also do the trick to pull off this boho trend. This top is available in black or white.

Bottoms:
Twenty8Twelve (designed by Sienna Miller, the queen of Boho Luxe) makes the Innego jean which is a black denim with studs all the way up the back pant leg.

Distressed denim is definitely whats on trend right now and they are a cool and a more casual way to pull off the Boho Luxe look. This style from Prps has that distressed look but there are no holes so you will definitely get a good amount of wear out of this style. Also try the new it denim line Current/Elliot. There are a lot of different distressed styles to choose from and they are guaranteed to be the most comfortable pair of jeans you will ever put on.

Belts:
This chain belt with coins is very reminiscent of the Gucci chain belt, except this one from bebe is a lot less expensive.

This option from Rampage looks like the skinny studded belt that Gucci showed on the runway and with the price of $10 what is there to think about?

Shoes:
The shoes for Gucci's Fall/Winter 2008 collection were all about fringe and studs. These suede fringe boots are a great option to pull off this trend at a great price.

This knee-high option from Nine West is sure to take you way past this season, adn the good news is they are on sale!

This short peep-toe bootie from BCBGirls is a great less expensive alternative to the Gucci studded bootie.

Jewelry:
Nicole Richie just launched her jewelry line called House of Harlow 1960 and all these pieces which range from $30-$150 are sure to add a finishing touch to your Boho Luxe look.
